Show Notes
Juliana and the SupaPass team have been hard at work building and refining their platform the past 10 years.
From the beginning, Juliana picking up extra jobs like teaching cello just to raise capital and fund the creation of SupaPass.
After gaining some attention in the tech space, SupaPass has developed into what it is today – a place to build your website, app, community, and business.
The reason Juliana wanted SupaPass to suceed so bad was because she wanted to create a platform where creators can build stronger, lasting relationships with their audience.
Sending your followers and audience to this platform and that social media network creates a lot of work for you as the creator, and your audience. Why not have them just go to one place? – That place is your website and/or app.
Key Points Discussed in This Episode
I know first hand how devistating it can be to be banned from social media without warning (it happened to me on Facebook from 2019-2020). It took almost a full year and a half just to get in contact with anyone there to get my account manually reviewed and reinstated.
If you’re building a business on platforms like Facebook or Instagram, they can take that away from you in an instant. That is why building your website and your own content “hub” is so important. And luckily, SupaPass makes all that extremely easy.
3 Main Takeaways from The Episode:
- Why it’s important to be building your business OFF social media
- How to stop treating your website like a “train station” – constantly sending people to other platforms and networks (and how SupaPass can help with this)
- Why you need a website for your business (and/or podcast!)
If you don’t already have a website, I strongly encourage you to get started on that, whether you use SupaPass or other platforms like WordPress.
If you’re serious about building a business or a brand, you really can’t afford to put the fate of YOUR business in the hand of tech giants like Facebook.
