Hey, I’m Nick.
I help solo creators and solopreneurs stop treating AI like a toy and start using it like a production system. One person. Team-level output.
I’ve spent years figuring out what actually works.
I started Nine-Five to Freedom years ago with a simple idea: help people build something of their own while working a regular job. It’s gone through a few different versions — passive income, podcasting, and now AI productivity — but the core of it has always been the same. I want to help creators and solopreneurs stop feeling behind and start actually building.
I ran two podcasts — The Nine-Five Podcast and The AI Briefing, an AI-generated show I managed and produced — and spent a long time in the podcasting education space. I co-ran a community called NextGen Podcaster where we held weekly live sessions teaching creators how to use AI in their workflows. I’ve helped hundreds of people understand these tools and build real systems around them.
Now I’m heads-down building in public. I’m developing tools for creators — starting with an app to help with the overwhelm that comes with content creation at scale — and documenting everything along the way. The goal is to build something people actually want, show them how I did it, and give them the systems to do the same.
I’m also a programmer now (sort of). I’ve been vibe-coding tools and apps using AI-assisted development, which means my actual coding knowledge is limited but my output isn’t. That’s kind of the whole point of what I teach.
“Team-level output as a solo operator. That’s the shift. AI doesn’t just save you time — it changes what’s possible for a single person.”
Three ways I can help.
