Show Notes
You’ve always heard about how important relationships are for the growth of your business. This is something I’ve spoken to great lengths about on the podcast with many guests that have come on the show.
But when we’re talking about these relationships, it’s usually discussed in terms of our relationships with other people.
Today, we are back on the relationship train with Joe Burns (The Money Master), only we’ll be discussing our relationships with money.
Joe had been faced with many difficult personal and financial challenges in the late 2000’s and found debt piling up fast and his house in foreclosure.
After reaching his breaking point, Joe found a way to build a relationship with money:
He started talking to it.
Money started to make sense. He started listening to what the money was telling him, learning how to make more of it, and started helping others do the same.
Through helping his clients build stronger relationships with their money, Joe’s clients have seen results nothing short of amazing. You’ll hear some of the stories in the interview including a women who was able to 7x her annual revenue in less than 2 years! She went from making $100,000 per year to over $700,000 in that timeframe.
Key Points Discussed in This Episode
In this interview with Joe, the goal is to get you thinking more deeply about money and build a better relationship with it.
Here are a few of the main points:
- Talking to money – why talking to your money can help you personify it and build a deeper connection to it.
- Control the emotions – the way you feel and think about money has a massive impact on your ability to make and keep more of it.
- Why your goal of 6-figures is limiting you – we often have this misconception that reaching 6-figures is the ultimate win or sign of success. Although this can be a great starting goal, it is a limiting one.
With the success that Joe’s clients have had after working with him and their ability to exponentially increase revenue, there really is somehing to building a stronger connection and relationship with money.
